Choke Canyon Reservoir

Choke Canyon Reservoir is located in South Texas, about 80 miles southwest of San Antonio. It is a man-made lake that was created in the early 1980s as a joint project between the Bureau of Reclamation and the city of Corpus Christi. The reservoir covers over 26,000 acres and has a maximum depth of 95 feet. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping and is known for its largemouth bass fishing. The park also offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and a wildlife viewing area.
